Makibox A6 HT Assembly (Photo Series 1)
Finally had some time, so we decided to start with assembly of the Makibox A6 HT (see pics). Despite issues surrounding the supplier of the Makibox, we have to give Makible and Jon Buford, a big thumbs up for the simple “Ikea-like” assembly instructions and the general ease of assembly using simple tools.
Overall the kit was well packaged and with easily marked parts.
Things we noted, though was some warping in the acrylic plates upon assembly which may or may not affect final operation. All in all 95% (some of the external acrylic covers were left off for now) of the assembly was accomplished in ~4 hours. Really hope Makible gets back on its feet and ships more of these units.
